As Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh                           

Thank you very much for considering Sheikh Ahmad Kuftaro foundation as the place to advance in the Arabic language and Islamic studies.  The  foundation is dedicated to educating and preparing students who are interested in learning the Arabic language and Islamic studies.

The foundation emphasis is on Zikr, the remembrance of Allah, contemplation, and spirituality.

As for students interested in learning and memorizing Qur'an, the foundation offers a special program supported by qualified teachers who will work attentively with each student for the best outcome.

Interested students in the Arabic language, the foundation offers two programs specialized for none-Arabic speakers. The two programs are as follows: 

1.   The Institute of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies For Non-Arabic Speakers (ITALIS)                 

This program teaches Arabic language and basic Islamic studies for one to three years depending on the student’s level in the Arabic language. 

Upon passing ITALIS program, the student will be qualified to enroll in a four year program at "Islamic Da'wa College."  This school year program begins approximately the 1st of October and ends in mid-May.

2.   Intensive Arabic Language Courses

1-  The course consists of six levels in one year. Beginning with basic Arabic alphabet to an advanced level covering reading, writing, and speaking the Arabic language.

2-   Each level lasts eight weeks, five days a week, three hours a day Sunday through Thursday.

3-   Students will be given a Diploma in the Arabic language at the end of the sixth level.

4-   Attending classes is mandatory for final exams.

Students wishing to study one year or more need to bring their secondary school education certificate (high school diploma or equivalent), both officially certified and endorsed by authorities of the relevant country and by the Syrian embassy located in their country.

Please obtain a tourist visa from the Syrian Embassy in your country, since we are unable to send admission letters at this time.

Registrations will be done at Sheikh Ahmad Kuftaro foundation directly and in person.
